Brian Tracy! Goal!
Chapter 15: Daily Goal Review
The psychological law is that whatever we aspire
to accomplish is inscribed in the unconscious mind
or the subjective mind. ― Orison Swett Marden
Sometimes, I ask the audience in the course of the talk:
“Who here wants to double their income?”.
No wonder everyone raised their hands.
Then I continued, “Then I have good news for you.
All the people here will have double income, 100% guarantee,
if you can live long.”
If your income increases by about 3-4% a year,
the average annual cost of living also increases,
then you will double your income in 20 years.
But that was too long a time.
So what is the real problem here?
That is the question: “How fast can you do it?”

DOUBLE GOAL COMPLETE SPEED
Real estate is the purest form of entrepreneurship – Brian Buffini
There are many techniques that can help you achieve your personal
and financial goals more quickly.
In this chapter, I will share with you a particular method
that has helped so many people go from poverty to wealth,
far more effectively than any known method.
This technique is simple, fast, effective,
and guaranteed to work, if you do it.
I have said before:
“You will become what you think about most”.
This is an immutable fact.
One of my teachers,
John Boyle, said,
“Whatever you can keep in mind on a regular basis, you can have it.”
This is the key.

POSITIVE THINKING
Now, one thing
I tell everyone is learn about real estate.
Repeat after me.
Real Estate provides the highest returns,
the greatest values, and the least risk. – Armstrong Williams
Nowadays, people often talk about the importance of the concept of “positive thinking”.
Positive thinking is indeed important,
but it is not enough.
If left undirected and uncontrolled,
thinking
Positive thoughts can quickly turn into positive dreams and positive hopes.
Instead of acting as a source of energy that inspires
and motivates you to achieve high,
positive thinking can only become a more significant factor
than a generally happy attitude towards life,
and whatever happens to you,
good or bad.

SETTING SYSTEM GOALS
In any market, in any country,
there are developers who make money.
So I say all of this doom and gloom,
but there will always be people who make money,
because people always want homes. – Sarah Beeny
For years on end, I tried to accomplish my goals,
put them on paper once or twice a year,
and then review them whenever I had the chance.
This alone is enough to make an unbelievable difference in my life.
Usually I write down a list of my goals for
the upcoming year in January.
Come December of the year,
I’ll go over my list to assess what I’ve accomplished,
including some of the biggest
and most difficult goals on this list.
Then I realized that this technique changed my life.
I’ve discovered that writing down my goals at least once a year
and then rewriting them over
and over again is incredibly powerful.
Some authors suggest that
you write down your goals
and review them once a month others suggest once a week.
What I have learned is the power of writing
and rewriting my goals every day.

WRITE DAILY GOALS
You are the greatest asset needed
to break the barrier of success in your work
and business. ― Benjamin Suulola
Here is the technique to do it.
Get out a spring-loaded notebook
that you can carry with you at all times.
Every day, open your notebook
and write down a list of your 10 to 15 most important goals,
but don’t refer back to the previously written list.
Do this every day, day in and day out.
When you do so, many special problems may occur.
1st: Good child, sweet wife and wonderful mom;
2nd: My husband is the best seller in store;
3rd: Customers give great tips to us daily;
4th: Save expenditure and deposit 5.000 ringgit monthly;
5th: Save money and deposit 50.000 ringgit on 23 Jan 2023;
Save money and deposit 100.000 ringgit on 23 Jan 2024
6th: Read communication, business, sale and investment books daily;
8th: Smile, happy daily, eat well, drink well and sleep well;
9th: Open store system in Bangladesh;
10th: Buy lands in Bangladesh;
11st: Buy lands in Viet Nam;
12nd: Buy house in Malaysia;
13rd: Buy then sell lands in Viet Nam;
14th: Passive incomes can cover all our cost,
we get finance freedom without working;
15th: Meet my husband on happy new year in Malaysia.
The first day you write down your goal list,
you will have to think and reflect for a long time.
Most people go through their whole life
but never make a list their top 10 goals.
On the second day, write down your goal list,
but without referring to the previous day’s list,
the task will be easier.
However, these goals may be different,
both in description and in order of priority.
Sometimes, a goal
that you write down one day won’t reappear the next day.
It may be forgotten and never reappear.
Or maybe it will reappear at a more appropriate time.
Every day when you write down a list of 10-15 goals,
your definitions of them will become clearer and sharper.
Your priorities will change as the life around you changes.
After about 30 days,
you will find that you write down the same goals over
and over again every day.

PRACTICE THIS METHOD
Real estate is the best investment for small savings.
More money is made from the rise in real estate values
than from all other causes combined. ― William Jennings Bryan
In the exercise we discuss in this chapter,
you will learn how to achieve goals much more quickly
than people who write goals only once.
Your results will double, triple,
and increase 5 to 10 times
when you use the effectiveness of goal setting
we talked about in previous chapters,
but you will write down your goals,
their own every day.
You must apply some special rules
to get the best results from this exercise.
First of all, you have to apply the “3P Formula”.
Your target must be written and described in a positive,
present,
and personal way.

ACTIVATE YOUR SUCCESSFUL
Don’t sell yourself short;
you are your best asset. ― Matshona Dhliwayo
Your subconscious can only be activated
by affirmations expressed in time present.
Therefore, you should write your goals
as if you had already accomplished them.
Instead of writing,
“I will have an income of $50,000 in the next 12 years,”
you should write,
“I have an income of $50,000 a year.”
Instead of writing:
“I will stop smoking”
or “I will lose… kg” you should write:
“I do not smoke” or “I weigh… kg”.
Your commands must be affirmative
because your subconscious cannot process negative commands.
It only responds to affirmative commands at the present time.
The third P represents the word “Personal”.
From now on, write every goal that
begins with the pronoun
“I” followed by the goal action or state.
You are the only person in the universe
who can use the pronoun “I” for yourself.
When your subconscious receives an order
that begins with the pronoun “I,”
it can be likened to a factory receiving a work order from the central office.
It will start working immediately to make the goal a reality.
For example, start writing your goal with affirmative phrases like:
“I have an income…”, “I weigh…”,
“I achieved…”, “I won…”, “I drive a car…”,
“I live in a house…”, “I climb mountains…”, …

ESTABLISHMENT TERMS FOR COMPLETE GOALS
Invest with an end vision in mind
in order to scale your investment growth,
misguided investments field losses. ― Wayne Chirisa
To power daily written goals,
add a deadline to the end of each goal.
For example, you might write,
“I had an average income of $5,000 a month before December 31, year…”.
As discussed at the beginning of the chapter,
your mind is often directed to the ultimate limit
and works through the “force system”.
Even if you don’t have a solution to achieving your goal,
give it a definite deadline.
Remember that you can always change the due date with new updates.
But make sure you have a deadline after each goal.

OPERATION OF INTELLIGENT COMPUTER
Every company’s greatest assets are its customers,
because without customers there is no company. ― Michael LeBoeuf
Your unconscious mind works like a giant computer,
never shutting down,
helping to make your goals a reality.
With almost nothing to do,
your goals will gradually become a reality in life,
sometimes through the most incredible
and unbelievable ways.
Many years ago,
I met a businessman in Los Angeles with a very weird idea.
He wants to raise millions of dollars
to invest in an amusement park in Hawaii that includes restaurants,
galleries and exhibitions from different countries around the world.
He is absolutely confident that
it will be an attractive tourist destination
and he will receive the support and
encouragement of all the participating countries
as long as he can raise the “starter” money to launch the project.
Given my youth and inexperience,
I gently told him that the idea was an odd one.
The complexity and cost of the project was too high
and his resources were too weak,
if continuing to follow this idea would just be a waste of time.
I thanked him and politely declined his invitation
to participate in the development of this plan.
That was the story of the 1960s.
Later, I learned that the Walt Disney Corporation took over
this project comprehensively,
calling it the EPCOT (Experimental Model Community of Tomorrow) center,
and started building the project outside.
Next to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
The theme park and project have continued
to generate hundreds of millions of dollars
and become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world.

EXPLAIN THE RESULTS
If you count all your assets you always show a profit. ― Wilson Mizner
You can increase the effectiveness of this method
with a few additional techniques.
First, after you’ve written down your goal affirmatively,
in the present moment,
and personally,
write down at least 3 actions
you can take immediately to achieve your goal.
That goal, also in an affirmative way,
is current and personal.
For example, your goal is to have some income.
You can write: “I have income $5,000/month for the next 12 months.”
Then you can write right at the bottom:
(1) I plan ahead every day,
(2) I immediately start working on my most important goals,
and (3) I focus on everything.
Focus your mind on your most important task until it’s done.
Whatever your goal is,
you can easily think of
3 actionable steps that can be taken immediately to achieve it.
When you write down action steps,
you program them into your unconscious mind on the path to your goal.
At some point, you will suddenly realize
that you are actually taking the steps you wrote down,
even without thinking about it.
Every action step takes you forward faster to the ultimate goal.

USE THE CATEGORY CATEGORY
The man who will use his skill and constructive imagination
to see how much he can give for a dollar,
instead of how little he can give for a dollar,
is bound to succeed. ― Henry Ford
Another way you can increase the efficiency of your daily goal setting is
to record your goals on heading cards (8x13cm).
Write a goal on a card with big letters.
And always carry these cards with you.
Every time you have a spare moment,
take out the cards and review your goals, one goal at a time.
Each of these goals should be written
according to the personal,
affirmative, present-time principle
as discussed in the previous section.
Someone once said,
“I’d rather have a morning of fasting than no affirmations.”
Each time you use these cards, take a moment,
take a deep breath and relax,
and then revisit each of your goals in turn.
As you read these goals out,
imagine them becoming reality.
Really see yourself in the position of accomplishing the goal,
enjoying the result,
feeling the satisfaction
when the goal is accomplished.
Or alternatively,
as you read what’s written on the card,
imagine concrete steps you can take immediately
to achieve that goal.
Then relax and move on to the next goal.
Ideally, you should review your goals on these cards at least twice a day.
Remember to carry them with you and review them at your leisure.

TIME FOR PROGRAMMING THE BRAIN
Money is my military,
each dollar a soldier.
I never send my money into battle unprepared
and undefended.
I send it to conquer and take currency prisoner
and bring it back to me. ― Kevin O’Leary
There are two ideal times of day to set and edit your goals,
as well as to read and review the heading cards mentioned above.
It’s the last thing you do at night before you go to bed,
and the first thing you do the next morning,
before you go to work.
As you rewrite and review your goals for the evening,
you are bringing them into your subconscious mind.
Your unconscious mind will then organize your goals as you fall asleep.
Often you will wake up with great ideas for things
to do or people to contact to help you achieve your goals.
When you rewrite and review your goals in the morning
before you go to work,
you set yourself up for a positive attitude
and are ready to work toward your goals throughout the workday.
Just like a morning workout to warm up,
reviewing your goals in the morning will also stimulate your mind
and help you reach your peak performance throughout the workday.
The result of rewriting
and revising your goals in the evening
and in the morning is that
you engrave them more deeply into your unconscious mind.
You will gradually move from positive thinking to positive learning.
You will develop an unshakable conviction
that your goals are achievable
and that it is only a matter of time.

One must definitely work hard to earn money.
However, for the rich,
hard work is only a temporary solution,
while for the poor, it lasts forever.
The rich understand that they have to work hard
until the money they make is enough to serve themselves.
They understand that the more their money works,
the less they will work.
3. Every night before you go to bed,
visualize your life as the goals are accomplished.
Check list and remind
4. Think of three things
you can do right now to accomplish each goal.
Always think about the areas of action you can take.
Smile
Think positive future
